Board Games is the theme of the 2011 American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Peters Township on May 14-15, 2011.
Admission is free and open to the public. Live bands, games, other family-style entertainment will be featured and refreshments will be available. Teams will decorate their respective sites around the stadium track using board game themes.
Registration for the cancer survivor's dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
The Relay For Life Survivors Ceremony and Lap will be held at 8:30 p.m., followed by the Luminaria Ceremony at 9 p.m. to honor cancer survivors and remember those who lost
the battle against cancer.
Money raised by the relay teams fund cancer research, early detection and prevention, educational programs, advocacy efforts and patient services.
