Community Corner

McMurray Rotary

The Rotary Club of McMurray meets every Thursday noon at the Rolling Hills Country Club.  Our club has close to sixty members who are leaders in the business, professional and governmental areas of our community.  The McMurray Rotary has been in existence for about fifty years during which time we have contributed around $1 Million to local, regional and international charitable endeavors.

We also directly participate in Peters with such things as building the pavilion and restroom facility at Elm Grove Park, providing the picnic tables for the overlook at the new extension to Peterswood Park, providing dictionaries to all third graders every year and then holding a Spelling Bee at the end of the school year for those kids, participating in the Earth Day cleanup, and many, many other community service projects.  The Rotary motto is, "Service Above Self" and we have a lot of fun doing that!

We would be happy to have you visit with us at an upcoming meeting.  You can find out more at about us and Rotary International on our website.
