Mothers & More of South Hills Pittsburgh is sponsoring this event. The Power of the Purse event will kickoff the purse fundraiser. The organization is collecting multiple items to be donated to the Women's Center and Shelter. This event is a pot-luck appetizer/dessert social and meeting with a representative from the shelter. Anyone attending is asked to bring a small food item to share and a needed item. A list of items can be found on the attached press release. Anyone that brings a donation will be entered in a drawing with some great prizes donated by local business owners. Donations for the shelter will be collected up until May 18.
