Relay for Life Saturday August 3rd Peters Township High School
Almost everyone has been affected by cancer in some way. Either a friend, family member, or yourself has fought a hard battle against a disease that is not easily understood. The American Cancer Society is there to support those affected through their research and support programs. Relay for Life is a fantastic fundraising event that is a celebration of life, remembrance of those lost, and a moment to reflect. Relays are held all across the county. With our local Relay quickly approaching, local fundraising efforts are in full swing.
There are many ways to support the event:

-Join a team and walk the relay! You do not have to walk for 24 hours! We will take our turns and pass the baton to others throughout the night. If you would like to participate and do not have a team, we have plenty of room on ours and we would love to have you! Follow the link below and click ‘Join Team’.
-Come to event as a spectator. Check out the raffles, games, and activities the organizers and teams have put together to make the event successful and enjoyable.

-Purchase a luminaria in memory or support of a friend or love one. Go the the website at the bottom of this article and click the ‘Purchase a Luminaria’ button.
As a store, we are excited to present a team of dedicated relay participants consisting of employees, family members, friends, and neighbors. This is not about what type of vehicle you may drive, it is about coming together for an incredible cause. Many of us will have our children there for part of the day. What an awesome opportunity to teach your children the importance of charity and participation. Many of the booths will offer activities for the little ones. The theme of carnival is sure to bring out the best.

Set up 8AM- 11AM
Opening Ceremony Noon
Talent Contest 3-5 PM (Other Entertainment scheduled throughout the day)
Survivor Lap 8:15 PM (Registration Available on Website)
Caregiver Lap 8:30 PM
Luminaria Ceremony 9 PM
Mass 10 PM
Closing 8 AM
South Hills Chrysler Jeep Kia will be located on the outside of the track area. We will have activities for the kids and adults as well as some raffle items. Hope to see you there!
