Local therapy professionals providing care close to you, that’s what drives such North Strabane Center for Rehab Services (CRS) therapists as Bruce Jacobs… who doesn’t have far to drive to work, coming from Peters Township.

Bruce is an Occupational Therapist at the North Strabane CRS that opened only months ago at Meadowpointe, 470 Johnson Road, Suite 110. Bruce, a 1977 graduate of Plum High School, toiled as a sheet-metal worker for almost a decade before his life made a sharp turn. In his career since then as an OT, he admitted, that previous career “gives me unique insight into worker’s compensation and patients trying to return to heavy workloads.”

The North Strabane facility, one of more than 50 CRS locations throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania, comes under the clinical supervision of Physical Therapist Craig Doman. It offers Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, Neurologic/Vestibular/Concussion Physical Therapy, Women’s and Men’s Health Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy/Hand Therapy. Its hours are from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Hours may vary when a certain therapist and specialty are available.
