Obituary: Carolyn A. Kluglein

Kluglein, 80, was an active member of the Giant Oaks Garden Club in Peters Township.

Peacefully surrounded by her family, Carolyn A. Kluglein passed at the age of 80 on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

She was born Nov. 18, 1931, Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late William and Anna Horsting Schwerman.

Kluglein graduated from Fordham University School of Business in 1954. She was a valued and dedicated employee of Tomsic and Yenko automotive.

She was a member of her college Transportation Club and was an active member of the Daylily Society, the Giant Oaks Garden Club, and the Three Rivers and Neapolitan Chapters of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America.

Carolyn was the beloved wife to Fred G. Kluglein for 53 years, who died May 21, 2007.

Surviving is a son, Richard W. Kluglein; three daughters, Dianne M. Magiera, Cathryn A. Newcomb, and Lenore M. Taylor; and eight cherished grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday to  in McMurray.

A Mass of Catholic burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in . Interment in will follow.
