Blotter: Vulgar Graffiti at Library, Vases Stolen From Cemetery, Man Injured in Crash

Here are the latest reports from the Peters Township Police Department:

Man taken to hospital following crash
A Bridgevile man was injured in a two-car crash on East McMurray and Bebout roads at 6:34 a.m. Tuesday.

Steven Tripp, of Bridgeville, was taken to the Canonsburg General Hospital after his car collided with one being driven by James A. Beck of McMurray.

Police are investigating the crash.

Vulgarity scrawled on library walls
An official of the Peters Township Public Library on Monday reported that someone had written crude and vulgar language on three areas in the teen section. The words were written in permanent marker.

Police said no damage estimate was available.

Vases stolen from cemetery
Peters Township police said someone stole seven vases from the Queen on Heaven cemetery. The theft was reported Monday morning.

Police said two other vases had been stolen recently.
