Cat Dies in Peters House Fire

A state police fire marshal is investigating.

A state police fire marshal is investigating what caused a Peters Township house fire that killed the family's cat, according to the Observer-Reporter.

The fire broke out around 6 p.m. at 215 Hemlock Drive. The fire apparently started in the basement, and the one resident at home at the time called 911, according to the report.
