Coroner Identifies Peters Fire Victim

Mary Ann Detrick, 64, died from smoke inhalation, according to the Washington County coroner.

A Venetia woman died from smoke inhalation during a structure fire Saturday morning, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said.

He said the manner of death for Mary Ann Detrick 64, of East McMurray Road, is pending an investigation.

Warco said her body was found by police and fire personnel responding to a structure fire at her home—and that she was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:20 a.m.
