Nearby: Washington Felon Sentenced for Possessing 14 Firearms

Justin Michael King was sentenced to 15 years in prison last week.

A Washington man was sentenced in federal court to 15 years of prison on his conviction of violating federal firearms laws, U.S. Attorney David J.
Hickton announced Friday.

U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab imposed the sentence on Justin Michael King, 34, of 595 Fayette Street in Washington.

According to information presented to the court, King had prior convictions at the time he possessed 14 stolen firearms that included rifles, shotguns and handguns.

This case was prosecuted under Project Safe Neighborhoods, a collaborative effort by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and communities to prevent, deter and prosecute gun crime.
