A Fredericktown woman died as a result of injuries suffered in an early-morning crash in Bentleyville.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said that Ilene Nicole Corpora, 27, of Barnard Road, died from trauma. He ruled the death an accident.
"The victim was the operator and sole occupant of a Honda sedan traveling north on Beallsville-Bentleyville Road. After coming through a right bend in the roadway, the vehicle crossed the center line and went off the southbound lane, traveled (about) 81 feet, and struck a tree," Warco said in a release.
Ellsworth and Bentleyville volunteer fire departments and Fort Cherry Ambulance Service assisted police at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State police in Washington.
