Teen Briefly Jailed on Burglary, Theft Charges Out of Peters

Peters Township police said the charges stem from an alleged Aug. 30 incident.

A Lawrence teenager spent a brief time in the Washington County Jail earlier this week after Peters Township police charged her with theft and burglary.

Police said Kaylin Lyon, 18, is accused of stealing a camera and jewelry from a residence in the 200 block of Church Hill Road. That burglary, police said, was originally reported on Aug. 30.

After an investigation, police said Lyon ultimately confessed to the alleged burglary and theft.

Lyon was arraigned before district Justice James Ellis on Wednesday and remanded briefly to the Washington County Jail, on $10,000 bond, according to the Washington County Jail list.

Unfortunately this TURD lives by me. I guess I have the president and section 8 program to thank for that. Every day I enjoy watching her and her scumbag brother deal drugs and act like scum which is driving down the home values on my street. The mother's car has more dents than a golf ball, so she must be high as well. The prom queen in the mugshot likes to sell people Tylenol and tell them they are pain killers. I'm just waiting for the day when someone comes back with a gun and kills some innocent person walking their dog. Someone needs to flush this one and everyone in her house down the toilet. Also, great job to the Georgetown Crime Watch, they wouldn't notice if someone came in and stole their tv while they were watching it.
