Officials evacuated the Peters Township Middle School around 10:30 a.m. due to an anonymous threat found in the building.
Peters police are on the scene investigating.
The evacuation was precautionary and parents are asked not to pick up their children or call the school until more information becomes available, according to the Peters Township School District spokesperson.
