Peters Township Woman Jailed for Possession of Heroin, Paraphernalia

A Peters woman was jailed Friday after township police said she admitted to officers that she was in possession of heroin and paraphernalia.

Police said officers were summoned to a resident on Kimber Drive after Marcia Stubenfort said she found her daughter, Alicia Schultz, 28, preparing to use heroin intravenously.

"Just prior to finding her, (Schultz) went for a walk and later admitted to purchasing two stamp bags of heroin from a male in the parking lot (of a local eatery) and was give a hypodermic needle," the criminal complaint indicates.

Police recovered the two stamp bags—one of which still contained some suspected heroin—a needle and a bottle cap.

Police charged Schultz with one count of possession of heroin and four counts of possession of paraphernalia.

She was arraigned Friday before district Judge Joshua Kanalis and remanded to the Washington County Jail.

Schultz is currently awaiting trial on a similar drug case where she reportedly overdosed on heroin, the criminal complaint states.

She is scheduled to appear before district Judge James Ellis Tuesday afternoon for a preliminary hearing on the charges.
