Police News: Drug Take-Back Results, Vandalism & Drug Charges

All information was provided by the Peters Township Police Department.

July 26, 1:02 a.m.: Angela Marie Bock, of Washington, Pa., was charged for simple possession of drugs. She was stopped by police at the intersection of Waterdam Road and Route 19. She was not physically arrested, and charges will proceed by summons, police said. 

July 26, 8:13 a.m.: Eight residences' garages and mailboxes on Spruce and Willow drives were vandalized with profanities and inappropriate configurations in pink and red spray paint, police said. 's sign was also vandalized with pink paint.

In other police news: Results are in from this year's event—hosted on April 30. Washington County ranked No. 9 in Pennsylvania, donating more than 705 pounds of drugs. Allegheny County ranked No. 1, donating nearly 2,150 pounds.

Plans are under way for the next event in the fall. Police said the box in the station is already filling up. You can donate presription drugs at any time—prescription medicine in pill form, liquid and over-the-counter drugs are accepted.
