UPDATED: I-79 Reopened Near Canonsburg After Crash
Two people were transported to an area hospital, a 911 supervisor confirmed.

One northbound and one southbound lane of Interstate 79 are now open after a tractor-trailer overturned, snarling traffic near the Canonsburg exit.
Both souhbound lanes had been closed after the crash, which occured around 2:20 p.m., the supervisor said. The one northbound lane was also closed.

There is heavy congestion in the area, and drivers are asked to proceed with caution.
