Update: Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident
Janet Chormanski was taken to Canonsburg Hospital after her BMW X3 traveled into an embankment.

One woman was injured in a two-car crash Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the 500 block of Valley Brook Road.
Janet Chormanski, 66, of Hardwood Drive in Venetia, was transported to Canonsburg Hospital after her 2006 BMW X3 traveled off the road into an embankment. The driver of the vehicle in front of her stopped to make a turn and the vehicle behind her was unable to stop, police said.

Jesse Anochel, 22, of Marion Drive in McMurray, the driver behind Chormanski, was driving a 2006 Acura RSX. He was not injured.
If Chormanski's vehicle would have been lined up straight, she would have plowed into the vehicle in front of her, police said.

"Because of the angle she was faced, she went to the right and into an embankment," they said.
Police are investigating.
