Woman Sentenced for Child Endangement; Man Gets Jail Time For Burglary

Both cases were adjudicated last week.

A Canonsburg woman and McMurray man were sentenced to jail last week on endangering the welfare of children and burglary charges,
respectively.

Court dockets show that Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky last
week sentenced Lana Blue, 22, of 223 Valley View Terrace, to 60 days
to 23 months in prison on a child endangerment charge.

Canonsburg police charged Blue on Sept. 10, 2010 after Pittsburgh
doctors found that her 13-month on had suffered numerous injuries,
according to court dockets and WTAE-TV.

The charge stems from a July 5, 2010 incident, court records show.

A Peters Township man was also sentenced to jail last week.

Court dockets show that Washington County Judge Janet Moschetta Bell sentenced Thomas Striegel, 26, of McMurray, to three to 23 months in prison on burglary and other charges.

North Strabane Township police had charged Striegel on March 20 with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief.

The charges stemmed from a burglary at Table restaurant in Peters,
according to WTAE-TV.
