DA Candidate, Peters Attorney Announces Campaign Endorsements

 announced Wednesday that he is endorsed by the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 47.

Pennsylvania State Troopers Association President Bruce Edwards said he was privileged to inform DiCarlo that his members had unanimously endorsed his candidacy.

“Representing more than 8,000 active and retired State Troopers, the PSTA seeks to endorse candidates who have the best interest of Pennsylvania and its law enforcement community at heart," Edwards said in a statement. "Clearly, your service as assistant district attorney in Washington County provides you with the experience to serve as district attorney."

DiCarlo has also been endorsed by Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 47.

Representing more than 500 police officers, Lodge Secretary Charles Frey said he was pleased to inform DiCarlo of the endorsement.

“We feel, as do many of the citizens of Washington County, that you are the most qualified candidate and will serve the citizens of Washington County with distinction," Frey said. "Your years of distinguished service to those citizens as assistant district attorney, and your relentless pursuit of justice, speak volumes of your qualifications and dedication to those you serve."

DiCarlo thanked the members of the PA State Troopers Association and F.O.P. Lodge 47 for their support.

“I am very proud of these endorsements," he said. "Police officers have only one special interest—to make our community a safer place to live. I share that interest and I appreciate their recognition that I have the experience needed to protect Washington County."

DiCarlo, 45, is the Democratic candidate for Washington County District Attorney. He was unopposed in the .
