A 'Petition Signing' Open House

The general primary is April 24. What does that mean for Peters Township Republicans? All the election deadlines for nominating petitions, filing & declaring candidacy are earlier than usual.

Given the anticipated flurry of candidate activity, PT Republicans invites you (and a friend and/or neighbor) to a "Petition Signing" open house this Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at Rolling Hills Country Club.

Voters will have the opportunity to sign nominating petitions and help numerous Republican candidates get on the primary ballot.

In addition to the presidential field and the U.S. Congressional candidates, many other candidates are emerging for important state offices (PA attorney general, auditor general, treasurer, state senator, state representative, etc.)

And with the recent redistricting, PTR will have a great opportunity to explain these developments to voters.

Stop by for a few minutes to meet your PTR committee person and catch up on the latest developments.

Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available. Many volunteers will be needed that day. It will be a pleasant, informal way to meet candidates and help them meet their Feb. 14 filing deadline.

Your help in forwarding the electoral process would be greatly appreciated.

-Laura Zajdel and Eric Rouillard, PTR co-chairs
