Five Things You Need to Know This Week in Peters Township

Here are five things you need to know about this week:

1. The Peters Township School Board will meet for its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. today—Monday, April 15—in the administration building.
2. The township’s zoning hearing board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building.
3. The township’s parks and recreation board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the municipal building.
4. More than 20 restaurants will be participating this year in the Taste of the Township fundraiser for Peters Township Public Library from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at Valley Brook Country Club. For more information, click here.
5. Peters Township residents are invited to participate in two events Saturday. The annual roadside cleanup event will be held Saturday. Participants are asked to meet at the Community Recreation Center at 9 a.m. To sign up or to receive a location in advance, call the public works department at 724-941-4180.
