Gallery: League of Women Voters Forum Features County Candidates

Commissioner candidates were featured, with row office contenders getting the opportunity to speak also.

Issues related to the regulation and taxation of the Marcellus Shale drilling boom dominated the discussion at a League of Women Voters candidate’s forum held Tuesday at Canon-McMillan High School.

The event featured the nine candidates running for county commissioner, who gave opening and closing remarks — as well as answered questions submitted by the audience of about 75 people.

The forum was also open to county row office candidates, several of whom made speeches after the commissioners' debate was completed.
