Liquor License Transferred to Center Plate Café

Peters Township has transferred an existing liquor license to the new Center Plate Café restaurant.

Peters Township has transferred a liquor license to the new Center Plate Café restaurant.

Council during its Monday night reorganization meeting agreed to transfer the existing liquor license from the defunct Sinatra's Trattoria & Pizza restaurant previously at the Center Church Road location.

Center Plate, which is owned by Penny Folino and her boyfriend, Lenny Radziewicz, opened in October after customers were disappointed about the closure of Penny’s Diner on Route 19 McMurray.

Customers previously were allowed to bring their own beer to the restaurant.

Folino said the restaurant offers . The restaurant is situated in an old, remodeled house where diners can choose to sit in one of three areas with a unique theme.
