Peters Council Approves New Street Light

Peters Council approved the addition of a street light at the corner of Brookwood and Abbey Brook roads in the Brookwood Manor plan, subject to the existing pole's capability, according to township Manager Michael Silvestri. 

Neighbors complained to the township that a light was necessary because the area is a bus stop and there is a landscaped island difficult for drivers to see at night.

Peters Township has put in a request with West Penn Power to add the street light to the existing pole.
