Peters Township Council Monday night adopted a change to the zoning ordinance to allow multi-colored electronic signs.
The signs are only allowed along Route 19 and must follow a list of regulations. For example, electronic signs must be monument-style, not just a pole.
Before Monday night, only electronic signs with black background and red or amber lettering were allowed on Route 19.
