Peters Township Manager Confirms Intersection Closure
Construction will begin at the Route 19 and Valley Brook Road intersection May 22.
Peters Township Manager Michael Silvestri released his monthly blog and confirms that the entire Route 19 and Valley Brook Road intersection will close May 22.
"This means no access under or onto Route 19 from Valley Brook nor to Old Washington from Valley Brook Road," Silvestri wrote.

Preparation for paving projects in the township begin this week. Actual paving will start around the first week of June. Check back to Patch for updates on road closures.
The township is also examining regulations for seismic testing associated with gas drilling. Silvestri asks residents who have been approached by a company for permission to enter their property and have questions to contact him at 724-941-4180 or MASilvestri@peterstownship.com.
