Poll Numbers Low for Obama, Casey, Toomey

Voters aren't happy with the president or Pennsylvania's senators.

The good news for President Barack Obama? Pennsylvania voters like him more than their U.S. senators.

The bad news? Those senators have set the bar kind of low.

That's according to the latest Franklin & Marshall College poll, which shows the president with a 34-percent approval rating. Sen. Bob Casey, meanwhile, recorded a 28-percent approval, while Sen. Pat Toomey's approval dropped to 26 percent.

Politics PA reports that Toomey's approval rating had climbed earlier this year following his sponsorship of the Manchin-Toomey background check bill.
