Waste Management Agrees to Pay Residents After Trash Pickup Delay

Some residents will receive a credit.

Waste Management has agreed to give a credit to residents whose trash pickup was delayed around Christmas, according to Peters Township Manager Michael Silvestri.

Silvestri said the pickup was delayed because the wife of one of the workers went into labor and there was a staffing mixup with Waste Management.

Waste Management will give the households that were affected during that delay a $2 credit, Silvestri told Peters Council on Monday night. Silvestri said the total amount equals about $3,500.
