Peters Football Falls to Penn-Trafford 42-12
Senior Andrew Erenberg and sophomore Marcus Ubinger provided the scoring punches for Peters.
On Friday, the Peters Township Indians lost its opening game to the Penn-Trafford Warriors, 42-12. Penn-Trafford dominated the first half, scoring all points, while the Indians scored two touchdowns in the second half.
Manny Simpson scored three of the six Penn-Trafford touchdowns, leading the Warriors offense. Senior Andrew Erenberg and sophomore Marcus Ubinger provided the scoring punches for Peters.
A large contingent of Peters Township fans traveled an hour and a half to support the Indians. Despite the score, the Indians never gave up and continued to fight until the end.

The Indians will face the Laurel Highland Mustangs on Sept. 9 for the home opener. Hopefully, the game will lead to the Indians first victory.
