Peters Football Falls to West Mifflin, 43-10

Indians freshman QB, Corey Owen, scored the first Peters touchdown late into the fourth quarter, finalizing the score at 43-10.

Friday night, the Peters Township Indians were defeated by the West Mifflin Titans, 43-10.

The Indians scored early in the first quarter with Harrison kicking a field goal. The Indians drove the ball all the way down the field to the 2-yard line, but failed to get six points, coming away with only a field goal.

The Titans soon answered scoring a touchdown and pushing the score to 7-3.

In the second quarter, the Titans fumbled on a kickoff return. The Indians recovered the ball and were in great field position, but they failed to capitilize on this play. This was the unfortunate turning point of the game.

The Titans scored two more touchdowns in the first half and kicked a field goal. This led the score to be 23-3 at the half.

In the third quarter, the Titans scored a 79-yard touchdown, pushing the score to 30-3. The Titans also scored two more touchdowns in the second half.

The Indians freshman quarterback, Corey Owen, scored the first touchdown for the Indians late into the fourth quarter, making the final score 43-10.

Next week, the Indians face the Bethel Park Black Hawks at Bethel Park.

The Indians' record is now 2-2.
