Chamber Welcomes New Peters School District Staff
Incoming teachers and staff, chamber members and corporate sponsors gathered Friday at Rolling Hills Country Club for a welcome ceremony.
Superintendent Nina Zetty praised the Peters Township Chamber for its active connection with the , and the job shadowing opportunity it provides, as well as hearty donations, Friday.
Each year, the chamber holds a lunch to welcome new teachers and staff to the community. This year's lunch commenced with a blessing by chamber President Kerry A. Burgan.
Zetty prefaced the new staff introductions with a delightful smile and pride in hiring such "worldly" teachers, who "fit very well within Peters Township."

She noted among the new staffers an ultimate frisbee player, a bride who did "Say Yes to the Dress" at Kleinfeld's in New York City, and experienced instructors who've taught in Japan and Brazil—among many other accomplished educators.
"We are indeed blessed with the quality of personnel and teachers," said chamber executive Director Carol Foley. "The (administration) has made a wise choice—we wish you well, enjoy the journey!"
