District Implements New Feature on PowerSchool
Single Sign-On is a new web feature, which allows parents to create a single account for all of their children in the Peters Township School District.
This summer, the has implemented a new feature in PowerSchool called Single Sign-On—a tool where parents can create a single account for all of their children within the school system.
This easy-to-use feature also allows parents to customize their user names and passwords, an email states.
Before you get started, take note:

- You must begin by clicking "Create Account" on the main PowerSchool page.
- You must have the username and password for each of your children that was issued to you by the district.
- All parents will need to sign in and create the new account—even if you only have one student in the district.
- You will now have the ability to create your own username and password.

Usernames and passwords that were given to you for your child(ren) are case sensitive. Students at Bower Hill generally follow the conventions below:
Students in 1st and 3rd grade: The first letter in all usernames is capitalized, and passwords are in all capital letters.
Students in 2nd grade: Usernames and passwords are BOTH in all capital letters.
Bus Information:
You may also click on the new "Bus Information" icon in PowerSchool to view bus number and pick-up/arrival times for the 2011-12 school year.

- Homeroom information has been posted on PowerSchool for students in .
- Kindergarten parents have received homeroom information via mail.
- Students' schedules have been posted on PowerSchool for students at . (Please note that you must click on Attendance History to see room numbers.)
