Food Safety Training Program
St. Benedict is offering a food safety training program for all the volunteers who participate in parish activities. The Penn State Cooperative Extension, Greene County, will present the program in O'Brien Hall. The training program will include topics on food borne illnesses, safe purchasing and storage, monitor and record keeping, and the prevention of time-temperature abuse and cross contamination.
The program is free to any St. Benedict parishioner. Register by Sept. 15.
