This workshop is for students entering in grades 4 to 8.

Learn the basics of songwriting and recording using the GarageBand app for iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. The four sessions will cover the major aspects of songwriting, including chords & progressions, drum set patterns, melody & lyric writing, and song structures & forms. Students are encouraged to bring earphones, iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches with GarageBand installed. Students may share a device with a friend using headphone splitter cables.
