Gallagher to Start Season in Minor League

The Peters Township native was reassigned to the Charlotte Knights, AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.

graduate Jim Gallagher did not make the 40-man opening day roster for the Chicago White Sox.

He was in strong contention to do so, but White Sox Manager Robin Ventura decided on other players.

Gallagher heads to Charlotte to play for the Knights, AAA affiliate of the White Sox—the team he spent the 2011 season with. He played 126 games for the Knights, batting .246 with seven home runs.
