Math Course at Mt. Lebanon Paves Way for Peters Students

The nearby school board approved a distance learning initiative inviting six Peters students who've exceeded their curriculum.

Mt. Lebanon School Board approved a distance learning initiative at its meeting Monday opening the doors to six students who've exceeded their curriculum, The Almanac is reporting

The 2012-13 Linear Algebra course—not offered at PTHS—will be taught via videoconferencing to the Peters students and 17 of their Mt. Lebanon peers. 

This idea evolved out of direct conversations between Mt. Lebanon Assistant Superintendent Dr. Ron Davis and Peters Township Assistant Superintendent , the newspaper reports.

will pay $600 per student enrolled in the Linear Algebra course, according to The Almanac.
