Peters Dance Team Earns National Title
The varsity and JV teams recently competed in Orlando, FL.
The Peters Township High School varsity dance team is celebrating a big win.
The squad earned the No. 1 ranking in the nation in the small varsity hip hop division at the National Dance Team Championships in Orlando, FL. They cometed against 63 other teams.
The JV team also did well at the national competition—finishing first in the preliminary round and second in the overall competition.

Varsity team members are Jess Joseph; Carla Buzzatto; Lexi Uhler; Lyss Townsend; Maddie Williams; Megan Amelio; Savanna Schweizer; Val Mikec; Sydney Scott; Erika Miller; Robyn Bisignani; Sam Abraham; Natalie Leven; and Kylie Pollack. The team is coached by Nique Shuster and Barb Deliere.
JV team members are Stephanie Rossi; Jessie Fairbanks; Riley Gilespie; Ava Shahdadian; Megan Lee; Daria Hofbauer; Marlee Chylstek; Sarah Ciferno;Natalie Olivo; Becca Layton; and Logan Lehrman. The JV squad is coached by Ashlee Olivo and Megan Chicone.
