Peters School District to Offer Adult Education Classes

From ceramics to Spanish, community members have the opportunity to sign up for an array of courses.

Have you always wanted to take a ceramics class? Perhaps learn how to speak Spanish? Maybe you don't know where to start with social media—or your iPad?

You're in luck.  is now offering adult education classes.

This spring, community members have the opportunity to sign up for a wide array of classes that range from six weeks to one evening. These affordable classes are offered by district staff members and will take place in the schools.

“We have such a talented staff in Peters Township,” said Dr. Patricia Kardambikis, assistant to the Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. “We’re glad to have this opportunity for our parents and community members to take advantage of some of the technology and other expertise we have here in the district.”

Anyone interested in taking the class(es) should visit the district's website at www.ptsd.k12.pa.us for a complete list of courses and a registration form.

Registration is requested by April 2 to determine if there is enough interest to offer the course, but additional registrations will be accepted until the class size is full.
