Peters Students Receive Letters From Afghanistan
Some second graders got a special delivery last week.
Some Peters Township second graders recently got a special delivery from Afghanistan.
Around Thanksgiving, students in Linda Sallee's Bower Hill Elementary class wrote personal letters to troops in Afghanistan and wished them well during the holiday season.
Last week, the students heard back. The soldiers took the time to answer all of their questions and recognized each student.
