Peters Township School District Honors Retirees

These longtime employees were honored recently.

They spent years of their lives educating and enriching the lives of Peters Township students, and recently an annual dinner was held honoring staff members who will be retiring this year.

Sponsored by the Peters Township Federation of Teachers, nearly 100 guests gathered at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe to celebrate the contributions of these retiring staff members from throughout the Peters Township School District.

This year, 10 staff members will bid farewell to Peters Township and the dinner provided an opportunity for friends and colleagues to share fond memories and to thank the retirees for their years of service and dedication to the community.

This year’s retirees are:

  • Joseph Maize, high school teacher and baseball coach, 35 years of service
  • Donna Fox, high school/McMurray orchestra teacher and band co-director, 38 years of service
  • Patricia Chastel, high school teacher, 35 years of service
