Retiring Peters School Staff Members Honored

The retirees have a total of 368 years of service with the school district.

celebrated the careers of outstanding members of the teacher staff, administration and support staff who will be retiring at the end of this school year.

At a dinner in late May sponsored by the Peters Township Federation of Teachers, nearly 175 current and former employees gathered to congratulate the following retirees: David Karp from ; Madeleine Sipp and Rich Trypus from ; George DeCario from ; Vaughn Dailey, Janet Johns, Susan Drakeley, Jay Greenberger and Linda Doyle from ; Patricia Stevenson, Cheryl Hamilton, Suzette Sprowls, Pam Rose, Kathleen Sekely, Terry Morriston, Kathryn Peelor and Eleanor Pigman from ; Greg Isenberg from the maintenance garage; and Dr. Thomas Hajzus, Daniel Solomon and Dr. Mary Monsour from the district administration.

With a combined 368 years of service to the students and community of Peters Township, these dedicated professionals have made a major impact in the live sof students for decades. The event was organized by PTFT social chairperson Vivian Lane.
