The Peters Township School Board is hoping to have a new superintendent in place by the beginning of the 2013-14 school year in August.
Director David Hvizdos revealed that there was a closed meeting with the hired search firm on Feb. 14.
The ad has been posted for the job (see below) and the board plans on organizing focus groups to find out what the community wants to see in the next superintendent, according to Hvizdos.
Hvizdos said the first round of interviews are expected to take place on March 19 and 20.
