Jump Rope for Heart is a national education and fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
This event will engage the students of McMurray Elementary during the week of Feb. 19—and organizers say it will not only help contribute to the overall health of the students, but it will also "empower them to help other kids with heart-health issues."
But in order to make this event a success, the Health and Physical Education Department needs volunteers to come in on the afternoon of Feb. 22 to help
counting the money raised by students throughout the week.
