Holiday Wellness Action Plan

Don't let all the holiday festivities sabotage your weight loss, fitness, and health goals. You can celebrate the holidays at peace by creating a simple holiday wellness action plan…

Ready or not the holidays are upon us.  It’s a beautiful time of the year, but with all the holiday festivities our eating habits can take a hit along with our fitness habits.  Left unchecked that “hit” can take a toll on our weight loss, health, and fitness goals with long lasting effects.

You need a holiday wellness action plan!

First of all, you MUST eat a healthy nutritious breakfast everyday, which includes the holiday season.  This is the time of year that you can’t afford to compromise your energy level.  The Vi Shake for breakfast is the perfect solution for something quick, easy, fun, yummy, power packed with nutrients, AND it’s inexpensive!  It’s going to help you combat the added stress that comes with the holidays.  Don’t let your breakfast drop … and if you don’t eat breakfast?  There’s no time like now to start … just in time for the holidays.

Second, exercise.  I know, I know!  You don’t have time with all the added holiday responsibilities.  But honestly, you can’t afford not to exercise.  During stressful events is when we need to exercise the most because it helps us process the stress in a whole way meaning in body, mind and spirit!  You may need to get a little creative in fitting in your workout, but it will be well worth it.  And maybe, your solution might be to simplify your workouts for the holiday season.  Either way, do whatever it takes to keep your body moving.

Third, create a plan of action for how you will take part in all of the holiday feasting.  Fearing, ignoring, and procrastinating will only insure that you will take that “hit”.  There are ways to indulge in your favorite holiday foods that won’t end with sabotaging yourself.  I know because I’ve done it!

Fifth, sit down with a wellness coach who can help you create your personal holiday wellness action plan so that you can celebrate this wonderful time of year with energy, control, and peace with yourself.  

Let's face it!  How we take care of ourselves can lay beneath the surface of everything and nag at us.  Who needs that extra nagging stress at the holidays, right?!  Invest a little bit of time now to put your holiday wellness action plan together and you will go through the holidays with confidence and enter the new year with more joy and gratitude about yourself!  It's a win/win!
