Indians Reach Penguins Cup Final Third Time In a Row

Peters Township defeated State College Wednesday night.

The No. 1-seeded Peters Township varsity hockey team will play for the Penguins cup title game for the third consecutive season. 

The Indians shut out State College on Wednesday night, 3-0. It was the first time No. 5-seeded State College had been shut out in 40 games, according to the Post-Gazette.

The Indians will play No. 3-seeded North Allegheny at 9 p.m. March 20 at Consol Energy Center.

North Allegheny defeated the defending championship team, Bethel Park, on Wednesday night, 4-3, according to the Tribune Review.
