Peters Family's Club to Contain Synthetic Ice Hockey Center

A grand opening will run on Saturday from noon to 3.

An International Hockey College training center, complete with synthetic ice surfaces, is opening on Saturday at a club owned by a Peters Township family in nearby Upper St. Clair Township, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.


Located inside of the St. Clair Fitness and Racquetball Club along McLaughlin Run Road (owned by the Fisfis family), the center will have a synthetic speed ramp and 20-foot-by-40-foot synthetic rink.

The center's grand opening is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The address is 1341 McLaughlin Run Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.

The opening will feature tours, demonstrations and refreshments, according to the newspaper.
