The Peters Township varsity baseball team won its opening game of the PIAA playoffs Monday afternoon with a 6-1 win over DuBois at Berwind Park in St Mary’s.
The Indians will take on Seneca Valley Thursday in the second round of the state playoffs. Seneca Valley defeated Erie McDowell 8-5 in yesterday’s game.
