Save the Date for Soccer Boosters Fundraiser

Tickets are available now for the 2nd annual soccer "."

The event, to be held at Library Fire Hall in South Park on Friday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m., will feature top-notch entertainers and a buffet dinner, which includes beer and soft drinks. (The event is also BYOB.) 

The preliminary dinner menu includes hot sausage with peppers and onions, lemon pepper chicken, breaded chicken filets, beef brisket au jus, pasta with marinara sauce, green beans, rice pilaf, orzo salad, mixed greens with dressings, assorted rolls and butter, a coffee station, and a lemonade and iced tea bar.

Sports memorabilia will be auctioned off as part of a silent auction and the side-splitting entertainment will begin at 8 p.m. 

Pittsburgh's "King of Comedy" David Kaye will kick off the show and perform host duties, as Lionel Hamilton, from BET TV and "Live at the Apollo," will provide the feature act. Headlining is the ever-popular Mike Eagan, who you've seen on Comedy Central, NBC and the A&E channel.
