The Peters Township Hockey Club announced this week that it will continue its youth hockey program for those looking for a cool sport in the hot weather.
The club is offering two, six-week clinics either in the spring, summer or both.
The spring session starts Thursday April 18 and will run through May 23. The summer session will be held on Wednesdays from June 5 through July 10.
Both sessions will start at 7 p.m. and last through to 7:50 p.m. at Bethel Park Blade Runners. The cost per session is $110 for first child, and $90 for each additional family member.
Please note: This discount will apply to those who sign up for both sessions.
Organizers said the focus of the program "is developing hockey skills by keeping kids on the ice and having fun." Each session will be supervised by certified youth hockey and professional coaches.
These sessions are for beginners through advanced players 4 years of age to those youngsters who attend middle school. Players will be separated in to groups based on age and skill level.
Goalie instruction will be provided if there is enough interest. Full equipment required.
