Celebrating Summer Solstice in Peters

The longest day of the year is on Friday, June 21. What will you do to celebrate?

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and it's coming up on Friday, June 21.

The summer solstice is the time of year when the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun the most and it is also the official first day of summer.

Those extra sunny hours will have the Peters Township Community Day fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m. on June 29. Booths and games will be set up from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
